First, we will visit the “Ayasofia” mosque, located in the city of Trabzon in eastern Turkey. Which is one of the most important historical monuments in the city. It dates back to the thirteenth century. The mosque was originally a huge church. During its construction, Trabzon was the capital of the “Tribazund Empire”. After the conquest of Trabzon by Sultan Mehmet the Conqueror. It was converted into a mosque with drawings from the Bible erased from the walls in 1461.
Ataturk Palace
Then we will visit this historical building that hosted Ataturk. Ataturk is the founder of the Turkish Republic in 1934 and 1937. The palace is located seven km from the city center of Trabzon. Within the palace, things Ataturk used during his visit are displayed and you can enjoy the peace that the forest provides. And the different colors of flowers found in the palace garden.
The palace consists of three floors and overlooks a group of attractive gardens. Which is unique in its wonderful designs . And contains a group of antique furniture that was used in it since the beginning of the twentieth century.
Seragol Lake
Seragol Lake in Trabzon is one of the most beautiful natural tourist places in Turkey. Where this wonderful lake existed due to the accumulation of rainwater in a confined area amid the mountains covered with permanent greenery. Which made it a natural landmark par excellence, which attracts thousands of visitors annually. There is a boat rental center in the lake. Where you can rent a pedal boat or a paddle boat to paddle around the lake. And enjoy the views of the fish swimming inside. Or you can practice the hobby of fishing what you like.
Walking around Trabzon Square
We will visit Trabzon Square which is the main city center. It includes restaurants and cafes.
In the center of Trabzon Square is a colossal statue of the founder of modern Turkey, Ataturk. From it branches off Uzun Sokak, which includes many shops. And Turkish and international brands. It is a well-marked shopping street. And then Sentanol a delicious meal in one of the restaurants there.
Boztepe Trabzon Tea Garden
Boztepe district is 3 km from Trabzon city center, it is located directly above Trabzon Square. Where you can reach it in an easy and very convenient way. Also, Boztepa offers you a wonderful view that combines the entire city. And the sea also due to its higher altitude than the rest of the areas. You can enjoy the view with your cup of tea every morning is unique to you in this wonderful city.
